Unity Fellowship Church of Baltimore - 4007 Old York Road, Baltimore, Maryland, 21218

Deacon Clifton Butler (Chair of the Deacon Board) was born July 10, 1965 in Waldorf, MD to Theresa and the late James Butler. He is the youngest of five siblings. He attended public schools in Charles County, Maryland where he graduated from Maurice J. McDonough High in 1983. During his senior year in high school, he entered in the Cooperative Education Program in which he started his career in the federal government as a Clerk. Today, he is an Information Technology Specialist with the General Services Administration, Washington DC.

Deacon Butler joined the Unity Fellowship Movement in 2000. He has been an active member since joining the church. He has served as the Church Clerk, Member of the Church Council and on several committees. He was ordained as a Deacon in October 2005. Deacon Butler currently serves as Church Clerk, member of the Board of Trustees, Voices of Life Choir and the Pastor’s personal assistant.

Deacon Butler is very proud of his personal faith journey and new way of life. Over seven years ago, he surrendered all and entered into Baltimore’s Behavior Health Substance Abuse program where he learned to live his life without the use of drugs and alcohols. Today, because of his dedication and willingness to help others with their struggles with addiction, our church provides space for 3 local 12 step groups, and our Outreach Ministry stays active with providing assistant to individuals in need.
